LOGO
The logo of Lutheran Women's Missionary League-Canada was adopted in 1993 when the Canadian Districts of International Lutheran Women's Missionary League formed an autonomous group. Twenty-five submissions were received. This was narrowed to four from which the members selected the current logo. It incorporates the logo of Lutheran Church-Canada, of which they are an auxiliary, and the shortened form of the name…LWML Canada.
MOTTO
The motto, selected in 1993, is "Called
to Serve," based on Deuteronomy 10:12 (NIV), "And now, O
Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your
God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God
with all your heart and with all your soul."
