it for your own use and share it with others.
Some Tips: You might want to copy two months back to back
and provide to the women of your congregation. Or include a calendar
in each month's congregational newsletter for the benefit of all.
Another suggestion: print a prayer calendar on one side and the
month's suggestions from "A Year's Worth of Empowering Women
in Mission and Service" from the LWML–Canada Resource
Centre.
Together
in Prayer
Each Monday at noon we invite you to join
together to pray with Lutheran sisters in Christ. Use this prayer
(new each week) or your own.
July 19
Gracious God and Lord, You have redeemed us and called us Your
own, not because of what we have done, but because of Your infinite
love and mercy. We rejoice in the hope we have and pray that,
through LWML-Canada, we hold out that hope to people around the
world. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen.
July 26
Lord Jesus, You experienced all of the temptations we face each
day. Satan wants to deceive and entice us with false promises
and hopes. Through Word and Sacrament, strengthen and guide us
so that we daily trust in You alone. You, Lord, are the Way, the
Truth and Life and we praise and thank You for dying that we might
live. In Your name. Amen.
