PROGRAM  PLANNING

The Christian Growth Committee (2003-2006), with input from the other committees, put together a planner, Program Planning Made Easy for 2006-2007. This program planner is just the thing for busy society leaders. Pick a theme and suggested devotions, studies, sketches, etc. are all laid out for you. Pick up the phone or click your mouse and order everything you need for a year's worth of meetings. Actual devotions, etc. are not included so you order and pay for only those items you will use.

Also available is A Year's Worth of Empowering Mission Service providing ideas for both personal and group service activities (prepared by the Christian Mission Committee (2003-2006).

PRAYER: study, support, share
The Christian Growth Committee (2006-2009) is introducing a different way to do your annual planning. Instead of laying out an outline, they will provide many helps on the topic of prayer, things to help you see what the Bible has to say about prayer (study), things like a prayer calendar and a monthly devotion to help each other (support), and stories of how prayer has impacted the lives of others (share). They will also provide lists of suggestions for devotions, studies, etc. that will fit either the topic of prayer (in Get Connected!) or the theme of Tapestry in the Weavings section of the magazine. All of this is intended to help you plan your program for the year and prepare your own service of prayer to suit the needs of women in your area.

Each LWMLC society receives a copy of the newsletter Get Connected! in which much of this is provided. Please share it widely. A copy may also be downloaded from this web site.
