The Ladies Retreat was a great success. Next years’ should be just as great. There were 26 ladies who attended for all 3 days or just Saturday. More and more ladies are staying overnight for the whole weekend. You should come and enjoy the fellowship, Bible study, skits and all the great food. ~Heather
The Retreat at Aurora Lutheran Bible Camp was a time to reflect on our Journey of Faith: A trip for a Lifetime. It was great to see such a good cross section of ages, getting to know each other and introducing new people to the Retreat.
Each person takes with them something memorable on which to focus. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Camera buffs are always looking for that special shot. For me, it was Friday night around the campfire. I had snapped a few pictures but it was getting too dark. The moon shone on the water and 
a rowboat was pulled up on shore. Thinking it was a very serene shot, I took a couple with the flash still on. Then Stacey Nett did the same and to our amazement there was a cross on the bow of the boat. It made me think of the children’s song, “With Jesus in my Boat…”
How true it is in our Journey of Faith! We need Jesus’ presence on our trip. When we are in the Word, Jesus is the key to understanding it because He is the Word… It’s all about Him from beginning to end: His plan for us and all mankind. Romans 5:1-2 ~Irene
